Devlog – Void Protocol Update
Hey everyone!
We've just pushed a small update to Void Protocol to address some issues and give you a quick look at what's coming next.
Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug where pressing "Quit Game" in the pause menu wasn't doing anything, across all difficulties.

Fixed a bug where the confirmation popup for quitting during a run was not appearing properly, regardless of difficulty.
Known Issues

Quitting the game from the pause menu does not correctly reboot the Main Menu scene.

Quitting from the pause menu also does not correctly reboot the Splash Screen scene.

Recommended: For now, it's best to close the game using Alt+F4 instead of the in-game quit option.

After completing a run in any difficulty, if you start a Hard Mode run immediately after, enemies won't enter their dying state properly.
Future Plans

Fix the known issues listed above.

Remove the need for players to type their name to participate in the gameplay study.
(This study is part of my university project, but the public build on itch.io should not require any name input!)
